Yachtmaster

Yachtmaster. For those who take sailing seriously.

The RYA Yachtmaster qualification is for those at the top of the sailing tree and want to take sailing seriously and maybe move on to become a professional sailor.

We currently offer 2 options to passing the Yachtmaster exam:

  • 14 week fastrack Yachtmaster in local waters and on adventure sailing and mile building trips. Click here for more information.

  • 2 week intensive preparation for Yachtmaster in local waters.

If you are not sure about the level you are at but have the required miles etc. then we recommend you do the prep over two weeks. The extra week is quite often worth it. The course is very intense and includes lots of yacht handling, blind navigation, MOB under sail, sailing alongside and mooring.

This course is a specifically designed to combine all aspects of sailing theory and 'hands on'  to cover all angles of sailing to make you an experienced professional and safe skipper.
