In 2008 we will
be running two fastrack (Atlantic crossing) courses and one
standard fastrack course. Only five students are enrolled
on each yacht. All courses are run by an experienced and fully
qualified RYA Yachtmaster Skipper to ensure the highest level of
instruction is available to each individual .
Atlantic Crossing
Fastrack Course. You will be sailing from Gibraltar to the
Caribbean or vice versa depending on whether you take our Spring
or Autumn fastrack course. Our fastrack courses cover an 18 week
period and are paced to help you reach your potential sailing
ability. Most other sailing schools only give a 14 week course
but we believe that your goals cannot be achieved within that
time.
Standard
Fastrack Course. This course uses the fantastic sailing area
around Gibraltar to pack in some really good sailing. We have
spread this course over a 15 weeks (not 14 like most other
schools) to allow you more time to enjoy your sailing. We have
also made this course very competitively priced!

The fastrack
Yachtmaster course is a specifically designed to combine all
aspects of sailing theoretical and practical we try to cover all
angles of sailing to make you experienced professional skipper.
At least two weeks are spent in a shore based classroom
introduction to, Day Skipper theory, Coastal Skipper Theory,
navigation, rules of the road, weather The one-day courses such
as sea survival, first aid, VHF, are held during your stay. .
You will also complete a Trans Atlantic Crossing and then
completing some of your course in the Sunny Caribbean!!. All of
the courses are included in the price plus, your waterproofs,
life jackets, all food and mooring fees .
We do work you hard, so
maintenance is always on the agenda training is continuous
throughout the course covering all the boat systems. Sail
repairs up on the boson’s chair, maintaining the boats to a high
standard is a full time job which all students’ seem to love. Working together
as a team is one of the most
important aspects of sailing on the sea, and when you all work
as a well oiled team you won’t believe how easy it all is.

course is a big decision you will need to be focused all the way
to RYA Yachtmaster (Ocean).
